In the spirit of Durga (and her fiery, tigress of amazingness), Lakshmi and Saraswati I write this in celebration of the end of Navaratri - a tribute to fierce compassion. The truest, kindest kind. We can unleash the anger locked within our past to power us to our destiny. We can live what we came here to live; the embodiment of Wild Magical Freedom.
It has been a long time coming, what seems like a real 'Victory Day' for me, and although the learning continues, it is time to start sharing, as I go.
It is a challenging but inside job; battling the demons of our past and inherent doubt, delay and division. And our shadow catches up with us if we never meet and own it full on. We live separated and unintegrated; our wounded inner child causing havoc or mischief until we sit the fuck down and listen to their needs. Our future is clouded as we unconsciously live out our past again and again; scripting new upon new actors to play out the same old roles in our life. It's relentless.
But love is the greatest power and truth the greatest virtue. Light and dark dance together, as do the day and the night; the sun and the moon. But in this dance we can make a conscious choice, after choice after choice, until it is almost automatic, to not be ruled by our past or lost in its darkness and say to the tyranny of subconscious patterning; you know what? I'm gonna sit this one the fuck out. As I once heard in a Guy Finley talk 'I choose a new partner. The partner of understanding.'
We can unify love with wisdom and alchemise anger into constructive action. How do you go up? You light the fire!
